The treehouse is located at Zhongtianmen (Mid-Heaven Gate) in the Laojun Mountain Scenic Area, a 5A-level attraction in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, at an elevation of approximately 1,688 meters. This compact two-story micro-building spans only 41 square meters, integrating lodging, a tearoom, and a reception lounge.
This design experiment explores the relationship between prefabricated construction systems and their specific sites, synthesizing form, structure, space, function, and furnishings into a cohesive whole. It demonstrates how modular construction can harmonize with natural settings while maintaining functional integrity.
Key features include a minimal footprint (41m²), multi-functional layout, prefabricated components adapted to site conditions, and holistic integration of architecture and interior elements. The design exemplifies sustainable tourism infrastructure in ecologically fragile mountainous regions.
